CIPR CPD

Has anyone registered for the CIPR CPD scheme? I’ve had the brochure on my desk (somewhere…..) for months. It sounds like a ’sensible’ thing to do, but I havent been suitably motivated yet to complete the form.

Any thoughts?

I’m in my third year of this – i’d say it is worth doing, but you only really get out of it what you put in. Basically it requires you keep a log of how you want to develop and then what you did to achieve it. It certainly made me realise actually how much ‘development’ hours I put in every year – and the MSc will go towards this as well.

Thanks Lee. I checked out the CIRP website and it looks pretty straightforward. I was particularly tempted by the inclusion of the MSc course. I’ve sent off an e-mail to register and have drafted a Development Plan.
Well done you for being ‘almost there’ to Chartered Practitioner Status!
